Additional information
To obtain a permit, the vehicle must be inspected in Finland, followed by a Finnish technical inspection certificate. This document is valid indefinitely.
The clutch inspection is required when:
1. The empty train exceeds the maximum dimensions and tonnage accepted in normal traffic in Finland
2. The loaded set (excluding the load) exceeds the maximum permissible dimensions in
normal traffic in Finland (e.g. stretched trailer)
3. The loaded combination (including load) exceeds the maximum permissible loads for normal traffic in Finland.

– “LEVEÄ” (width), “PITKÄ” (length) or “KORKEA” (height) – located on the top of the warning sign
– additionally there may be auxiliary inscriptions: “KULJETUS”, “BRED”, “HÖG”, “LÅNG”, “WIDE”, “HIGH” or “LONG” – located at the bottom of the warning sign (below the Finnish terms as above)
2) minimum two warning lights
3) height measuring device (when piloting transport over 5m high)
4) CB radio
